OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY PATROL MOTORCYCLE TROOPER HIT BY CAR DURING STOP

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol motorcycle trooper is hospitalized after being hit by a car during a traffic stop on Interstate 40 in Midwest City. Trooper Justin Gandy was on the passenger side of the car when it was sideswiped ion the driver's side by a second car. Gandy was conscious and coherent when he was taken to a nearby hospital. The injuries don't appear life-threatening.
