IDAHO STATE TROOPER'S CRUISER STRUCK DURING TRAFFIC STOP
An Idaho State Police patrol car was struck along I-84 in Boise while the officer was making a traffic stop. Officers say a maroon car was bumped by another car during a lane change and spun out of control, careening into the police vehicle. Trooper Brad Korth was able to jump out of the way and escape injury. The accident happened just two days after the new "move over law" went into effect, which requires drivers to slow down or move to the inside lane instead of speeding past a stopped police car.
