SOUTH JERSEY OFFICER STRUCK BY MINIVAN
Swedesboro police officer Greg Weber, was directing traffic at an accident scene when he was hit by the vehicle at the intersection of Routes 322 and 41 in Woolwich Township around 11:30 p.m. Officials said Weber had to be airlifted to a Cooper Hospital, in serious, but not life-threatening condition with head and leg injuries. The minivan sustained damage to its front end and windshield after striking the officer. Police said the female driver was not injured in the accident. It is unclear if she will be facing any charges.
