A motorist in an SUV struck a Charlotte firefighter in east

Charlotte on Wednesday night, sending the firefighter to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver left the scene.Police are still looking for the hit-and-run driver, who was in a green Ford Explorer. The incident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Sam Drenan Road.
