INDIANA DRIVER FLOORS IT AND INJURES DEPUTY
A man driving a gray Honda "floored it" after being pulled over by a Humble police officer, later injuring a Harris County deputy during a 45-minute, high-speed chase that ended in Fort Bend County Friday night.The chase began shortly after 8 p.m. on FM 1960 after a police officer stopped the suspect for an expired registration sticker in Humble. It ended on Kyle Trail in Fort Bend County a few minutes shy of 9 p.m., police said. The driver's name was withheld late Friday. The Harris County deputy suffered "knee and ankle injuries" and was treated at an area hospital. The driver sped off without warning, police said.
