CA DEPUTY IN COMA AFTER BEING STRUCK

A young Stanislaus County deputy is still unconscious at the hospital after being hit by a pickup truck. 24-year-old Zebedee Poust has a fractured skull and is in a medically induced coma at the hospital. He was investigating a traffic accident involving a pregnant woman Saturday night around 10 pm in Empire, California. As he stood outside his patrol car, he was hit by a full-size pick-up truck.
