BRITISH CONSTABLE STRUCK BY STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

A POLICEMAN was hit by a stolen car as he patrolled Huby near Harrogate.

The officer, from Harrogate Police, was attending a report of a suspicious vehicle on Castley Lane in Huby on Saturday morning when he was hit by a black and silver Mitsubishi 4x4, reported stolen from Boston Spa the night before. He was taken to hospital where he was treated for leg injuries.
