TEXAS DEPUTY DIRECTING TRAFFIC STRUCK BY MOBILE CRANE

A Texas sheriff's deputy helping direct traffic to enable a crane he was escorting to make a turn was struck by the crane, which then slid into a ditch.  The deputy was flown to the hospital with apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
