OFFICER STRUCK BY CAR DRIVEN BY FLEEING SUSPECT

An undercover Metro police detective in Tennessee who was closing in on foot on a drug suspect was struck by the suspect driving away in his Lexus.  The officer was treated and relased from Vanderbilt Medical Center.
