INDIANA STATE TROOPER'S VEHICLE STRUCK DURING TRAFFIC STOP

An Indiana State trooper's vehicle, which also carried a canine dog, was struck by a van during the course of a traffic stop of a tractor trailer.  The van fled, but its driver was later caught.  The trooper was treated and released at a hospital, and the police canine was shaken but uninjured.
