CHARLOTTE FIREFIGHTER HURT AT ACCIDENT SCENE

A 51 year old Charlotte firefighter working at an accident scene was struck by a piece of wood protruding from the wide load of a tractor trailer as it passed by.  The firefighter, who originally was thought to have been hit by a car, was struck in the shoulder.
