• Florida: Tow truck driver killed trying to help motorist

  A Tampa tow truck driver was killed on the Howard Frankland Bridge road while trying to help a stranded driver and passenger he spotted early Monday morning after finishing up another call. The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver who hit 42-year-old Rogelio "Roger" Perez-Borroto didn't bother to stop to call for help.
