(TX) Texas State Trooper Kevin Ramirez Vasquez dies in Ector County
Struck on 9/17/2024 and died on 9/28/2024
Trooper Kevin Ramirez Vasquez died Saturday afternoon after investigating a civilian car crash along with the Ector County Sheriff's department.
Vasquez was struck by another vehicle traveling down the highway while investigating the crash on September 17th. He was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, but later was pronounced deceased after succumbing to his injuries.
The Texas State Troopers Association release a statement expressing their condolences to the family of Vasquez, stating that he had served his country in the United States Army and was a recent graduate of DPS class A-23.
