(MO)(04-08-2021) Tow truck driver dies following Callaway County wreck
(MO)(LODD) A tow truck driver struck on March 29, 2021 at a Callaway County wreck scene has died from his injuries
The initial wreck involving two other vehicles was reported on the shoulder of Interstate 70 West near the 151-mile marker at 6:05 p.m. on Monday night, March 29th, 2021.
The report said 32-year-old Matthew Link, of Chesterfield, was driving westbound on I-70 and hit the back of an SUV being loaded onto a tow truck. Troopers say the tow operator was attaching a winch to the vehicle when he was hit by the secondary crash.
On April 9th the Callaway County Sheriff’s Dept reported that Ryan Brewer, who worked for Approved Towing in Fulton passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near Kingdom City on March 29, 2021.
