South Carolina: Ambulance medic hit by car, killed, coroner says
A medic with a private ambulance service was struck by a car and killed Wednesday morning September 5, 2018, according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury. The medic, Christopher M. Gore, 36, was getting out of his vehicle to verify a street address on Sheep Island Road when he was struck by a car, Salisbury said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Berkeley County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the crash.
