Ohio Tow Truck Driver Struck and Killed on I-71
On Saturday morning September 29, 2012, tow truck driver William Houck, 60, of Columbus was standing beside a disabled vehicle while attempting to connect a car to his tow truck when he was hit by a 2008 Nissan sedan. Police say that alcohol is a suspected contributing factor in this crash. Mr. Houck was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital where he was later pronounced dead at about 4:18 a.m.
