Missouri Tow Truck Driver Killed in Crash Near Bond Bridge

Police said a tow truck driver was killed after being hit while out of his vehicle near the Bond Bridge Monday afternoon. Police have identified the driver as Blake A. Gresham, 18, of Smithville. Investigators said the driver had stopped to help a disabled vehicle and had just stepped out of the truck when a box truck sideswiped the tow truck. Police said the tow truck driver was killed at the scene.
