Maryland Tow Truck Driver, 38, Killed in Glen Burnie Hit and Run

Anne Arundel County Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit and run accident that killed a tow truck operator Wednesday morning on Route 100 in Glen Burnie.

According to a police statement, tow truck operator James Frederick Schreiber Jr., 38, of the 200 block of Iris Drive in Pasadena was fatally struck while trying to help the driver of a disabled sewage truck. Investigators said he was outside his truck and preparing to tow the disabled vehicle when he was struck by a 1987 to 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, which may have been red.
