Texas Tow Truck Driver Struck And Killed On Highway 77

A tow truck driver was killed along Highway 77 this morning as he was trying to move a wrecked vehicle off the road. 24-year-old Christian Gutierrez was hit by a UPS 18-wheeler as he stood on the side of the road. The UPS driver kept going and later told Department of Public Safety troopers that he did not realize he had hit anyone. Gutierrez was pronounced dead at the scene, charges are pending against the UPS driver
