New York State Trooper Killed During Traffic Stop
A 14-year veteran of the New York State Police has died. State Police say Trooper Kevin Dobson died Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle while on a routine traffic stop.
State Police say Dobson was hit on the I-290 Southbound around 7:30 a.m. just beyond the Colvin Boulevard exit. Police say Dobson was issuing a traffic ticket when he was struck and killed by a passing motorist.
State Police ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at (716) 759-6831.
