In its 20 year history, ResponderSafety.com has had only one editor’s column contributor, Dr. Harry Carter. With Dr. Carter’s passing in June of 2022, ResponderSafety.com has decided to take a new approach to our Editor’s Column. Moving forward, this space will be for editorials from the Emergency Responder Safety Institute and from guest columnists. The ERSI will peer review all guest editorials before publication. Editorials will look at issues facing emergency responders working on the roadway and propose solutions advocating for positive improvement.
