Public Safety Flaggers Course Offered In Berkeley Springs WV
NFPA 1001 has a job performance requirement that Firefighters who are assigned to traffic control at an incident scene must be able to safely perform temporary traffic control. Here's your chance to learn how the pros do it.
This 6 hour course taught by Chief Allen Baldwin, Incident Manager of the PA Turnpike Commission is being presented as a pilot program with our partner the Maryland State Highway Authority. The course will be presented nationally after it is fully developed. The course is in conjunction with the 107th Annual CVVFA Convention and is free of charge to CVVFA Members. All others are $5 which includes first year membership in the CVVFA and Lunch.
Public Safety Flagging is open to all who are called upon to do temporary traffic control including Police, Fire, EMS, Public Works and Towing and Recovery Operators. A certificate will be provided for satisfactory completion of the course that includes class room and field training.
